Dean is a Partner at Lumir and a member of its founding team.

For over two decades, Dean has dedicated his career to his two passions of technology and finance. At Lumir, he combines expertise in venture capital, emerging technologies, and portfolio management to pursue bold, high-growth opportunities with a measured approach to risk.

Dean’s prior experience spans multiple markets and includes: portfolio manager at a family office investing in both the Israeli and Australian markets, an active board member of a Sydney-based originator of funding solutions for business, the lead programmer of an analytical platform for a San Francisco based hedge fund, an investor in portfolios of online originated credit assets in the US, and the project manager of a clinical research tool for a Swiss hospital.

Dean has an MBA from Melbourne Business School, a Bachelor of Computer Science from Monash University, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Charterholder (CAIA).
