Alex Dikman is a Managing Partner at Lumir Ventures, where he leads investments in early-growth Israeli technology companies with a focus on AI, cybersecurity, enterprise software, and deep tech. Based in Tel Aviv, he is deeply embedded in Israel’s startup ecosystem, leveraging his extensive network and operational experience to back category-defining companies at key inflection points.

Alex has led high-conviction investments in some of Israel’s most promising technology companies, including Weka, Connecteam, Faye, Guardz, Tomorrow, Magnus Metal, Imubit, and Assured Allies. He believes that deep partnerships with founders must be built on an unshakable foundation of trust—earned through hard work, alignment, and a shared mission to create transformational companies. He is a long-term partner and strategic ally to his portfolio companies.

Before returning to Israel, Alex spent close to a decade in New York City, building deep expertise at the intersection of technology and finance. During this time, he held roles at Amazon, large venture capital fund, and fintech companies, developing a unique blend of operational, investment, and analytical expertise. Prior to his move to New York, he served in the Israeli Paratroopers Unit and later as a Team Leader in the Israeli Intelligence Agency for five years.

Alex holds an MBA from Columbia University and a B.Sc. in Economics, Statistics, and Operations Research from Tel Aviv University.
