Lumir Ventures Participates in Quantum Art’s $100M Series A

Lumir is excited to announce its participation in Quantum Art’s US$100 million Series A funding round. Quantum Art is an Israeli full-stack quantum computing company developing scalable trapped-ion systems designed to progress from hundreds to thousands of qubits. The company’s proprietary architecture aims to deliver practical quantum advantage and support high-impact commercial applications.

The new capital will accelerate the build-out of Perspective, Quantum Art’s forthcoming 1,000-qubit multi-core platform, and will advance its third-generation 2D architecture. The company has demonstrated strong technical momentum, including achieving the world’s longest fully controlled trapped-ion chain of 200 ions—a key proof point for scalability and system stability. Quantum Art has also published a detailed multi-year roadmap and launched early commercial collaborations, such as work with NVIDIA’s CUDA-Q platform and a joint project with Ayalon Highways to explore quantum-driven traffic optimisation.

The Series A was led by Bedford Ridge Capital, with participation from Battery Ventures, Destra Investments, Lumir, Disruptive AI, Harel Insurance, Karen W. Davidson, GTV, Yasmin Lukatz, Corner Capital, Qbeat Ventures, and existing investors Amiti Ventures, StageOne Ventures, Vertex Ventures, Entrée Capital, and the Weizmann Institute of Science.
